Defeating four teams in group stage round, Iran freestyle wrestling team advanced to final match of freestyle wrestling World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Iran defeated Turkey 7-0 in opening match, and then beat Georgia 5-2. Japan was the rival in third round and Iran repeated 5-2 wins over Japan.

Iran met USA at last match in primary round and defeated USA 4-3 to advance to the final match of World Cup from group B.

The host team Azerbaijan is the opponent of Iran in Final.
